On October 2nd, 2015, both Dora Longoni and Kees Kouwenaar were invited speakers at a seminar in Toyo University’s “Top Global University Project” series.
As the Seminar brochure states, the purpose of the seminar is to address the challenges that follow from the increase in English-taught programmes in Japan.
“To maximize the advantages of English-taught degree programs, a shift is needed from the conventional Japanese-style “admission model” targeting students at Japanese-language schools to the global standard ‘acquisition model’ in the recruiting and admission processes for international students.”
The seminar was sponsored by Springer Japan.
